IP COMMERCIALISATION: A BOOST FOR HONG KONG RE-INDUSTRIALISATION STRATEGY (KICK-OFF SEMINAR)

Intellectual Property Commercialization (IP Commercialisation) has become a hot topic in the Asia-Pacific region and even globally. To promote the development of IP commercialization in Hong Kong, HKYIC launch the “IP Commercialisation – A boost for Hong Kong re-industrialization”Kick-off seminar at the Hong Kong Productivity Council on 10 March, 2023. Prof. Heiwai Tang, Director of the Asia Global Institute at the University of Hong Kong(HKU), shared his preliminary research on “Regional Intellectual Property Commercialization” to explore the feasibility of implementing IP commercialization in Hong Kong and share the initial research results. At the same time, HKYIC invited government departments, renowned scholars, and business stakeholders to discuss the possibilities of IP commercialization and the re-industrialization of Hong Kong from different perspectives.
